Horses That
Heal.
Our PATH International certified equine therapy programs harness the extraordinary therapeutic power of horses to help veterans, children, and individuals in recovery build confidence, connection, and resilience.
What Is Equine Therapy?
Equine-Assisted Therapy (EAT) uses interactions between patients and horses as a therapeutic modality. Horses are uniquely sensitive to human emotions — they mirror our internal state with remarkable accuracy, providing immediate, honest feedback that traditional therapy often cannot.
Sessions may involve grooming, feeding, leading, and riding horses under the guidance of a licensed therapist and certified equine specialist. The activities are carefully structured to address specific therapeutic goals.
Research has shown equine therapy to be effective in treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder, eating disorders, and various developmental disabilities.
